hi to you all, this is my first post and hopefully i will get answers to questions i expect many of you have thought about already.
i would like to pull together a table of factual results on pv system output over time to get a true idea of how many Kw/h (units) of electricity your systems are generating over a particular timescale, in a typical british climate.
the information i require in order to get meaningful results are:-
size of system installed (Kwp)
panel aspect ie south, southwest, etc
panel angle (if known), maybe roof pitch?
where in the uk
output Kw/h (units) with date from / to (the longer the period the better)
maybe some of you have had your systems in more than a year so an annual output would be very welcome.
if i get enough results i will put them on a spread sheet and publish here.
the reason i am asking for this data is so we can all be informed on the true system output vs system size and of course payback not the theoretical salesman talk!
many thanks
paul

Hi Paul,

Welcome to the forum.

It would be better asking that question in the solar section. You'll also find a couple of members have already posted some of the answers you are asking.

Hi Paul and welcome..

BTW, it is useful to give some indication of your location as answers to some questions can vary depending on geographic position.. ;)

You might want to read the DTi report, DOMESTIC PHOTOVOLTAIC FIELD TRIALS. It's from 2006 so the cost figures are no longer relevant, but most of the rest is.

Download from: http://www.publicarchitecture.co.uk/res ... Report.pdf

Hello and welcome Paul - I've done a bit of moderator trickery to combine your two posts and drop them all in Solar so that you'll get all the answers you need in one place - feel free to drop back into the Green Room and give us a more general introduction to yourself if you'd like to.
